and new West Germany parts. The wood insulators and old-style lights are commonplace.
Each cab has its own air conditioner - manufactured in Russia with labels
in Cyrillic!
All European rolling stock uses the bumper-and-hook coupler.
With so many springs, one would hope for a better ride!
Sturdy brake shoes provide excellent stopping power. Oddly enough, newer
engines with disk brakes only can prove more difficult to couple because of the spring
loading of the bumpers.
