Once you've designed your rolling stock (or chosen stock from 3rd PlanIt's Object Library), you can run it on any 3rd PlanIt track plan. You can even select a "Moving Object" and follow the object as it moves... the scenery rolls underneath the train as you watch.

The sequence below was captured in "Follow Moving Object" mode as the train moved. Just before the last picture, the crane and flatcar were uncoupled from the train. This is done in 3D by clicking either car near the coupler that should be opened.

3D train running is accompanied by actual railroad sounds to enhance your experience. If you were to back up the SD-40 and tank car above until it coupled to the crane, you would hear an authentic coupling sound to confirm connection. (Sounds may be turned off if desired).
